The Valls air raid shelter is located under Plaça del Blat. It was built in 1938 due to the danger of being bombed during the Civil War. The shelter was built according to a project designed by the municipal architect Josep M. Vives Castellet.
It is an underground shelter, of the gallery type and covered with bricks. It is located about 8 meters deep with galleries 1.80 meters high and 1.60 meters wide. Today the area that can be visited occupies a length of about 55 meters.
