Templar Refuge of Rourell

The Templar Refuge or Rourell Castle, home of the Marquises of Vallgornera, is a well-preserved stately building. Supposedly originating from the 12th century (with a Templar past), it was rebuilt in the 17th century and, later, in the 19th century, it was renovated and given its current appearance. The coronelles windows (tall, narrow windows with a small column in the center between two arches) and the voussoir door stand out. Inside, the entrance, the stables and the courtyard show a noble origin.
