Arranged guided visits and free visits when the church is open

The current church of Sant Joan was built in the 16th century; its central nave is Gothic in style and has fourteen side chapels, one of which is dedicated to the Virgin of Candela. The radial rose window on its façade stands out, and the bell tower is a symbol of the city of Valls, as it has a spectacular height of 74 metres, making it the tallest bell tower in Catalonia and from where magnificent views can be admired.
