The Vinícola de Nulles, with the Wine Cathedral as its emblem, is the story of a town’s effort to make a dream come true. A yearning for hope that is almost impossible after the great desolation caused by the phylloxera plague.
It is the beginning of 1900, and after hundreds of years of family plantations and winemaking, the inhabitants of Nulles decide to pool their resources and knowledge to create the Sant Isidre union and build the town’s winery, the Nulles Wine Cathedral. This union materializes in 1917, with the 1920 harvest being the first to fill the new modernist cellars.
This emblematic building, the work of Cèsar Martinell, one of the greatest exponents of the modernist movement, stands out not only for its beauty, but for bringing together all the qualities necessary for winemaking.

VISIT WITH TASTING TO THE CATHEDRAL OF WINE
A journey through one of the modernist jewels of Cèsar Martinell, the cooperative winery of Nulles is still alive and the wines and cavas of the Vinícola de Nulles – Adernats in century-old brick vats are made there. Travel through its history, wine culture and taste the fruits of this privileged land.
ROUTE AMONG VINEYARDS WITH TASTING OF 5 WINES
A walk between octogenarian vineyards and dry stone banks. We discover a privileged landscape with many crops in “the last Dry Plain of Catalonia”. We tour the Cathedral of Wine and end up tasting the fruits of this land.
GROMET TASTING WITH SAUSAGES AND CHEESES
Paused, we will discover the riches of Nulles with a visit to the vineyards. Glass in hand, we will continue to get to know the Cathedral of the Wine of Nulles to finally enjoy a complete pairing with sausages and cheeses.
THE ORIGIN OF CALÇOTADA
Nulles is located 5 km from Valls, the gastronomic capital of calçot. This experience will allow us to discover the relationship between the vineyard and the cultivation of the IGP Calçot de Valls calçot. We will return to visit the modernist cellar and taste the wines and cavas of the Vinícola de Nulles with a special calçotada aperitif.
